Ponti
In 1867, Giovanni Ponti, founded Ponti in Sizzano. As a farmer and a wine and vinegar producer, he was known as “GIUANIN D‟LA ASEI” which means “Giovanni of the vinegar”. His son Antonio joined him soon and expanded the business. In 1965 Cesare and Franco, current Managing Directors and CEOs, and 4th generation to take on the company decided to further expand and the main competitors were taken over. Since then, PONTI has had and held many great successes, but most recently they had been branded and established in the USA in New York in 2015. That same year, PONTI participated in Expo Milano.
